One integrated event with three different stages featuring top-level speakers, a hands-on exhibition and a legendary party open to all participants – and all for one price. That is the new concept of the fvw Kongress 2019.
The 20th fvw Kongress, which takes place on 17 – 18 September in Cologne, will have a new look, a clearer structure, and offer more content for all participants for just one single price.
This year there are three stages where experts will present new developments, trends and ideas for the future.
Strategic topics will be the theme on the Center Stage. Subjects will include digital trend-setters from Silicon Valley to Shanghai, flight operations in the era of NDC and One Order, new mobility concepts from e-scooters to flying taxis, data-driven online travel sales, turbulence in leisure flights, and the debate over sustainability and ‘ashamed to fly’.
Innovations in IT and practical presentations will be in focus on the Technology Lab stage. Topics will include tour operator systems and new booking and payment solutions for travel agents. Start-ups will again have an opportunity for presentations and discussions, in cooperation with the VIR association.
The Sales Lab will offer information for travel agents, above all. The topics here will be, for example, the omnichannel strategies of tour operators, new working models for travel agents, and the question how travel agents can win millennials as customers.
There is just one single ticket for the fvw Kongress on 17 and 18 September 2019 in Cologne. This will give entry to the entire event on both days, including the presentations on all three stages, documentation and the Kongress party.
The ticket costs just 349 euros as a special early booking price until 14 July. Travel agency owners and staff pay only 99 euros, while start-ups (no older than three years) pay 129 euros. All prices are liable to VAT.
